The Madrichim Program is for students in 9th grades and above. Madrichim are teachers’ assistants in CBT’s Weiner Religious School classrooms on Sundays and/or Wednesday afternoons.

An orientation session is held in August and the Religious School and Youth Groups Director and other community leaders provide training and support throughout the year. The number of positions is limited. Interested students in 9th through 12th grade must apply for a position in this program.

Because a large part of the Madrichim’s position is to serve as a role model, all candidates must be enrolled in CBT’s Weiner Religious School or the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy or have completed Confirmation. All Madrichim will be paid through scholarship for Jewish learning experiences, such as Youth Group, Jewish camp or Israel trips. Positions for the school year are filled in July.
