Career Networking Opportunities
Have you or someone you know lost their job? Beth Torah is in full support of networking throughout the Jewish community to ensure people can continue to provide for their families in trying times. The Jewish Federation of Kansas City is working in collaboration with the Career Management Service (CMS), a program of Jewish Vocational Services, to assist members of the Kansas City Jewish community to manage their careers. CMS is a comprehensive program designed to assist those wishing to manage their careers whether unemployed, changing employment or wishing to secure a promotion with a current employer
Local career professional, Cheryl Intrater, provides career advice on a regular basis. Cheryl Intrater, director of Career Management Services, a division of Jewish Vocational Services in Kansas City, has owned and managed career management companies including Career Trend and Alexander, Hoyt & Associates since 1994.

Beth Torah is pleased to support The Center for Spirit at Work. Their mission is to focus on the spiritual, ethical and social issues confronting today’s worker.
The Center for Spirit at Work offers people of all beliefs the opportunity to explore this desire through a variety of programs. Community leaders in business, labor, government, education and religion describe their aspirations, conduct and approach to daily challenges. Opportunities to reflect, renew and deepen these qualities are offered in several venues. There are also practical presentations and workshops provided to individuals in transition.
